The SkyWatch® 497 Traffic Advisory System (TAS) and the flexible SkyWatch HP System, which can be installed as either a TAS or TCAS I using a conforming display and antenna, have been designed to provide aircraft operators with a range of powerful, reliable, and cost-effective solutions to monitor surrounding airspace and traffic conditions.
SkyWatch® was the first active traffic detection system certified for general aviation. Since its introduction in 1996, more than 15,000 SkyWatch® systems have been installed in aircraft ranging from single engine pistons to helicopters to light business jets and turboprops.
No other collision avoidance system offers more display options than SkyWatch, including the Stormscope WX-1000 CRT as well as compatible displays from Avidyne, Garmin, Aspen, Sandel, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, and Universal Avionics.
